Establishing a strong and independent (Belgian) company is not obvious.
It is the vision and commitment of many people, several decades, that form the basis of success.

Wolf Laboratories was founded in 1932 by the Antwerp pharmacists family Wolfs. They had 2 pharmacies which located in the Keyserlei and one in the Haantjeslei. They only produced themselves.

In World War II, however, the plant with the adjacent house hit by a V2 bomb. The family didn’t survive the explosion.

After the war, the heirs of the family Wolfs rebuilt the factory and Laboratories Wolfs started the next level: production for third parties. Back then Laboratories Wolf produced the whole range: powders, bandages, ointments, tablets, syrups, capsules and ampoules. There even was a printing departement.

At the end of the 70s, the torch passed to the Wolfs related family Peeters, who until today still are leading Wolfs.

Under the impulse of the Peeters family, the production of own products was cut off and Wolfs Lab fully committed to produce for third parties. Some activities such as the production of ointments, syrups and bandages were discontinued and the focus was placed on the manufacturing of tablets, capsules, powders and the packaging of products.

Till today we still use the original Wolfs logo. Although we  considered a restyling  we are committed to keep the old logo because it is the symbol of the history of Wolf Laboratories and that is very valuable.
